Still ain’t written it, have I?

Backup; restore, and everything…

Hit the Start button, and you get:

Apps screen

From this screen, look at the list to your left and choose:

Click Settings

From here, you get

Not shown here, but right at the bottom of that screen is the choice of Update and Security.

From there, you need to get to

Now, you see that purple link at the end? Backup and Restore. Click it, and it’ll take you to this:

System tools

There are three lovely little choices, all self explanatory when you click each. And you really do ought to take a System Image backup of your hard drive. It’ll take a while to complete, depending on the size of your hard drive, but do it anyway.

You really ought to create a System Repair Disk! You’ll be given instructions as to how to complete this when you click the link.

Finally; the Backup and Restore Files tool is an excellent way of keeping your files up to date, and it’s a handy tool should you ever need to replace a corrupted file.

Now I know the Backup and Restore thing gives a Windows 7 tag; but it’s properly usable in Windows 10. So make use of it for all those jobs that, although frustrating, are a good way of keeping control of your system, and the stuff you’ve saved!

Do you have Windows 10, now? What do you think of it?

About tellthetruth1

The blog site is up and running. Please feel free to visit if you want to know the Lord. I treasure His Scriptures and pray you do, also. I've been a Christian since October 2009. The Lord saved me that month and has led me through many things in life. The one thing I adore Him for is bringing me the Light of Salvation and for forgiving me my wickedness.
