iTunes makes a pretty picture with the latest version. The Menu Bar is back on my iTunes, now I’ve updated it. Latest version is 188.8.131.52 as the readout suggests when you ask the software to show it. Do that by selecting “About iTunes” from the ‘Help’ dropdown menu. It’s right at the bottom of that menu.
I haven’t had the chance to mooch around the updated version yet as I’ve only just got it, but go to your search engine and ask it to find you the details if you want to have a read up before accepting the new version.
At first sight, it looks as if us older lot have been heard with some of the things we asked for, like the older-style look of the iTunes Window. You sign into your account at the top, like before. Your Playlists sidebar sits to the left, as many of us were used to. The Menu Bar is at top left and, just underneath are three more little icons for Music; Films and TV Programmes. The ellipsis: … shows even more selectable items, if you’re more used to choosing what you want from there.
Really like the updated ‘face’ of iTunes. I’ve loved this software for many years and it’s the most used of the three music softwares I currently have installed.
