More playing around with videos

Did you know you can download Windows Movie Maker for Windows 8? It’s still available as part of Windows Live Essentials.  (Heads up: DO make sure you get the correct download for your version of Windows. Windows 8 version is available here). However, it’s old. The last update was in 2012. But hey, I thought having that would help me find a link to play some old videos in WMLP format.

If you make up a video using Movie Maker, it can end up as a WLMP conversion. This isn’t always all that it’s cracked up to be, as you could end up with not having the original file format (codec) included when you try to play the old video. That’s where I’m currently at.

Nyaaaa!

BUT, help is at hand if you’re prepared to do a bit of research. Did you know that if any of your old films are still parked on YouTube, you can save them back to your own hard drive? For me, this will take a lot of pain out of my next task 😀 I’ll do anything for an easier life, haha 😉 This is wot ya do: (Psst, watch this video)

Isn’t that awesome? Now I can retrieve my videos. Nice one.

About tellthetruth1

The blog site is up and running. Please feel free to visit if you want to know the Lord. I treasure His Scriptures and pray you do, also. I've been a Christian since October 2009. The Lord saved me that month and has led me through many things in life. The one thing I adore Him for is bringing me the Light of Salvation and for forgiving me my wickedness.
